Agneepath is the 2012 remake of the 1990 Hindi film of the same name. It is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra. Hrithik Roshan will play the role originally played by Amitabh Bachchan.Priyanka Chopra will be the female lead.The character played by Mithun Chakraborty has been totally done away with in the remake. The main villain will be played by Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor will play another negative character. It has been reported that Zarina Wahab will play Hrithik's mother. Shooting took place in Mumbai's film city and Gujarat's Diu, India. The music of Agneepath got rave reviews from some of the top reviewers of Tinsel Town. Joginder Tuteja gave 3.5 stars quoting "'Chikni Chameli' would be a good enough reason to set up brisk sales for the album. " Gurpreet Bhuller of Moviehattan.com also praised Chikni Chameli and gave 3.5 stars saying that "Agneepath is undoubtedly the best work of Ajay-Atul, give these guys an applause" Music Aloud rated the album 8.5/10 praising " After a couple of false starts earlier this year, Ajay Atul have truly arrived in Bollywood with Agneepath! " Musicperk.com gave the album a rating of 7.5/10 quoting "No second thoughts,go ahead and buy the album"
